Cheryl Poulsen

(Stage Manager, Producer, Creative Director, & Executive Coach)
Cheryl Repeta Poulsen began her career in the theatrical arena at 3 yrs old with a pair of tap shoes and a teddy bear. That love of communicating a message from the stage to an audience has grown over the years and developed into a rewarding career in corporate communications. Studying Dance and theatre at GW led her into a position as an Equity Stage Manager in the Washington DC theatre scene.
After 10 yrs and many resident positions stage managing regional theatre in the DC area and abroad Cheryl took the leap into corporate theatre. Fast forward to the present and Cheryl has now earned almost 20 years working in the corporate world. As a Production Coordinator, Stage
Manager, Producer, Executive Coach and Creative Director Cheryl has
travelled the globe and as they say ‘seen it all’. Working with a vast variety of companies and organizations with audiences ranging from 20 senior executives to 15,000 sales associates
Cheryl honed her skills calling complex live and virtual often celebrity filled events. Cheryl has transitioned into the world of messaging and coaching as a creative strategist, executive coach and executive director of live and virtual events. She still calls shows for select clients but her focus currently is more toward messaging, client development and creative direction.
Cheryl’s ability to adapt to any situation, take on any role needed and

Cheryl lives in Sunny Agoura Hills California with her husband, Craig their daughters Madison and Sydney and 5 pets Bear, Daisy, Rapunzel, Ariel
and Cupcake. Cheryl excels under pressure and is fueled by the excitement and energy that corporate theatre brings. It’s one of her many happy places.

Robert Mark Kalfin

(Stage Manager, Director & Executive Producer)
Born in London, England and transplanted to America in 1980, Robert Mark Kalfin has been at the forefront of the live entertainment field for over 40 years. His experience has encompassed every aspect of production. From producing to directing, from writing to production management, from Broadway to corporate to interactive, hybrid and virtual,   he is known for his ability to seamlessly and successfully get the show up and running.
Since this unprecedented pandemic started Robert has been at the forefront of virtual and hybrid meetings. Recent projects have included a live broadcast from the New York Public Library for Aurora Humanitarian Initiative, virtual meetings and broadcasts for Intuit, Pacific Dental Services, Novartis, BioXcel, Remy Martin and Bausch + Lomb to name but a few.
Robert’s other clients have included GSMA (Mobile World), Dell, ANA, Nielsen, Committee to Protect Journalists, EMC, Hewlett Packard, IBM, AT&T, DIRECTV. Jive Software, Square Enix, Game Stop, Blizzcon, Takeda, Deloitte, Kohls, Abbott/AbbVie, CVS, Galderma, Bausch + Lomb, sanofi-aventis, Marriott, Pacific Dental Services,Ford, MLB, PhRMA, US Foods, Glaxo Smith Kline, Pfizer, Capital One, Mercedes, Verizon, Wrigley, Comcast, Nokia, Novartis, Invensys, Toyota/Lexus, McKesson, Nortel, MasterCard, Aflac and over 60 productions for Intel to name just a few.
He has worked extensively around the world with over 40 meetings in Europe, Asia and South America.
Past Broadway credits includes: Victor/Victoria with Raquel Welch, The King and I with Yul Brynner, Play On!, Street Corner Symphony, Jekyll &Hyde, Band in Berlin, More to Love, Dangerous Games and The Radio City Christmas Spectacular.
In addition, he has supervised many star-studded benefit performances at such venues as Carnegie Hall, The London Palladium, Roseland, Madison Square Garden, The Rainbow Room and London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane where he was the Production Stage Manager for the Royal Variety Show for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Robert lives in Irvine, CA with his wife, Jill and their 16-year-old daughter, Alia.
Robert thrives on the excitement of putting together a live show. Corporate Meetings, Virtual Meetings, Hybrid Meetings, Broadway, Gala Benefits, Award Ceremonies or Interactive. Each has their own special needs and challenges. Each ends up in front of a live audience....and that’s exciting!

Matthew Stern

(Stage Manager, Deck Manager & Producer)
Matt has extensive credits on both Broadway and in corporate events. After attending UC San Diego, his career began at the regional theatres in San Diego: The La Jolla Playhouse and Old Globe. Broadway stage management credits on 20+ productions, including: Finding Neverland, On The Town, Spiderman: Turn Off The DarkHands On A Hardbody, Death Of A Salesman, The Little Mermaid, Wicked, The Phantom Of The Opera, and The Full Monty, Matt has toured with: Mandy Patinkin, Patti LuPone, John Lithgow, Billy Crystal, and spent two years on the road with Les Miserables. 
Other theatre credits include: The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Blue Man Group at the Hollywood Bowl, and The Lord Of The Rings Symphony Concerts around the world. He spent a year as the resident stage manager at Ballet Iowa, and has stage managed many readings and workshops in NYC. 
Matthew has been a show caller or deck manager for numerous corporate event clients in a wide variety of industries from technology (Google, Facebook, Samsung, AOL, Intel...), travel (Volkswagen, Toyota, Boating Industry Magazine, Caterpillar...), Pharma (Abbvie, GSK, Novartis, DSI...), financial (Mastercard, FC Stone, Bank of China, New Mountain Capital...) and non-profits (American Theatre Wing, Endeavor, amFAR, GLAAD Awards...).
He teaches at SUNY Purchase, is a board member of the Stage Managers’ Association USA, and proud member of AEA & AGVA. Matt is the founder of the Broadway Stage Management Symposium, an annual conference for stage managers, where Broadway pros share their insights and experience about the art and craft of stage management. www.broadwaysymposium.com

All three of us come from theatre and have developed amazing careers by applying our skills to the challenges of creating events. We own homes, go on vacations, enjoy our work and our play.
